Jac Howard - Artist
M.A. (Fine Art) B.Ed. (Hons.)
I find decay - especially as it happens along coastlines, fascinating, and have been accused of making it beautiful - as if this was a crime.
Weather and tides, and the resulting oxidation, reduction, decomposition and transformation are all inspirational.
In nature - nothing leaves or is added to our universe, just changes from one form to another.
I am witness to this.
I show my work through East Durham Artists' Network (edan) and have opted to take early retirement from 30 years of Art teaching to build a body of work with which to approach larger regional galleries.
